Q: What is the standard hardware specification for UniTraffi…

A: UniTraffic is a set of three software, VAS, LPDR and TMS. VAS server may be provided as an appliance (HW with required specification + video analysis and tracking SW with optimized functions), and TMS and LPDR software can be installed together on a server with optimal specification. In case of tracking criminal vehicle in real time, LPDR is usually installed on the same server with VAS. Specification can be found here: https://unisemiot.com/en/unitraffic/configuration/

    Q: What is TMS?

A: TMS stands for Traffic Monitoring System. It is a software to provide all gathered data from VAS and LPDR in readable form. You can check real-time traffic situation on the observed sites, view statistical data on traffic by year/month/day/hour, by vehicle category, on traffic violations by year/month/day/hour, by violation type (non-use of helmet, excessive riding, over speeding, signal, lane, reverse driving and illegal parking violations), generate violation ticket and manage equipment and…

    Q: What is LPDR?

A: LPDR stands for License Plate Detection and Recognition. It is a software that captures vehicles' license plates and recognizes the numbers and letters on them.

Q: How many objects can be detected in one video?

A: VAS can detect and track 100 objects within video from one CCTV channel. However, when multiple CCTVs are connected, the number of objects that can be tracked by one VAS server is up to 1200 (12 CCTV channels*100 objects).
